A note from our founder
Why I built DMG
I’ve spent more than twenty years in operations, supply chain and commercial leadership — in electronics distribution across Europe, and in the NHS. Different industries, same pattern.
Good people spending their days chasing information. The stock figure that lives in one person’s spreadsheet. The procedure that has three versions. The corrective action everyone agreed in a meeting and nobody owned. The week before an audit when the whole team stops to find evidence that should have been there all along.
None of that is because people don’t care. It’s because the tools they’re given are either too big, too expensive and too complicated — or they’re a spreadsheet and a shared drive.
I started Duckham Meridian Group to build the software in between: practical, cloud-based tools for running operations, managing quality and compliance, and keeping people safe, at a price smaller organisations can justify.
Why “Meridian”?
A meridian is a line that connects points from one end of the map to the other. That’s what I want our products to do — connect the order, the inspection, the regulation and the record, so the whole picture is there when you need it.
What I’d like you to know
We’re a young company and we’ll tell you so. We’re working towards ISO certification ourselves, and our software is built to support the standards you work to. Where something isn’t ready, like CareTower, we say it’s in development. And if DMG isn’t right for you, we’ll say that too.
If any of this sounds familiar, I’d genuinely like to hear from you.

How we work
Plain English
If we can’t explain a feature simply, we haven’t finished designing it.
Honest by default
We say what our software does and doesn’t do. We don’t invent customers, statistics or certifications.
Built from the floor up
Our products start from the jobs people actually do on a Tuesday morning, not from a feature checklist.
Calm software
Fewer clicks, fewer surprises, and records that are there when the auditor — or the customer — asks.
