What is Martyn’s Law?
Martyn’s Law is the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025. It requires qualifying UK premises and events to have public protection procedures, and larger ones to put extra measures in place. The SIA is the regulator.
Which tier is my venue?
Broadly, premises where 200 to 799 people may be present are standard tier, and premises or events of 800 or more are enhanced tier. ProtectThread’s tier checker walks you through capacity, use and exemptions for each site.
How much does ProtectThread cost?
Starter is £39 a month for one standard-tier site, Professional £129 for up to 5 sites including enhanced tier, and Business £349 for up to 25 sites, excluding VAT. Group pricing is quoted.
