The best clinical software is not designed in an office. It is shaped on wards, in clinics and in patient administration teams, by the people who use it every day.
That is why we are inviting healthcare organisations to join us as pilot partners for CareTower before it goes on general release.
What CareTower is
CareTower is an EPR, PAS and patient portal platform designed for the NHS and independent healthcare. It brings four areas together on one patient record:
- Electronic patient record: emergency department, inpatient, critical care and maternity, with ePMA, results, order sets and discharge summaries.
- Patient administration: waiting lists, RTT pathways, PTL worklists, clinic outcomes and national returns such as CDS, ECDS and WLMDS.
- Patient and carer portal: appointments, letters, results, medicines, secure messages and video consultations, installable on any phone.
- System view: live patient flow, OPEL and bed state, population health and an NHS 2027 mandates tracker.
It is built around the 2026/27 priorities, including Martha's Rule daily wellbeing checks, the Accessible Information Standard, safeguarding and governed AI. Every AI model is registered and risk-classified, and clinicians always make the decision.
CareTower already has more than 430 screens and 785 secure API endpoints, with FHIR R4 and HL7 v2 integration. What it needs now is real-world testing.
Why we want partners, not customers
CareTower is not on general release, and we are not selling it yet. We want to get it right first.
A pilot partnership is a working relationship. We put CareTower in front of your teams, using your own pathways, and you tell us honestly what works, what doesn't and what is missing. We act on that feedback quickly.
Who we are looking for
We would like to hear from:
- NHS trusts and individual departments or sites
- Integrated Care Boards exploring system-wide visibility
- Independent hospitals and clinics
- Community services, hospices and care providers
You don't need to commit a whole organisation. A single ward, clinic, service or pathway is a good place to start.
What partners get
- Real influence over the product. Your clinicians and administrators help decide what gets built next.
- A platform configured around you. We set CareTower up around your pathways, forms and workflows.
- Direct access to the team. No ticket queues. You talk to the people building the software.
- Early access to new features as they are released.
- Recognition as a founding partner, if you would like it.
What we ask in return
- A named lead and a small group of willing users
- Regular, honest feedback during the pilot
- Agreement on scope, data and clinical safety arrangements before anything touches real patients
We will work with your information governance and clinical safety teams from day one. Pilots can begin with test data and simulated pathways, so your team can explore safely before any live use is considered.
A note on safety and governance
CareTower is designed to support CQC expectations and NHS standards. It does not certify compliance on its own. Any pilot will follow your organisation's governance processes, including data protection impact assessments and local clinical safety sign-off.
How to get involved
If you are interested, or know a colleague who might be, we would love to talk. There is no obligation. A first conversation is simply about understanding your priorities and whether a pilot makes sense.
